Busy busy busy – done (for a while at least)
Finally the decorating (for the time being) is done, our stuff is out of storage, we can cook, eat, sit on the sofa watching TV and do washing at home – happiness 🙂

Hall & Kitchen nearly there
It’s taking a long time but it really is nearly ready for use – the kitchen now has all it’s lights and the hall only needs a few more licks of paint.

With a little help from your friend
It’s amazing what you can do when you have a little help from your friends or Gareth’s brother Mark!

Progress in the kitchen
Things are moving on slowly but surely in the kitchen with the tall units and airing cupboard fitted, the work surfaces now correctly installed, sink in with waste plumbed (hot & cold just need connecting to the feeds) and the hob installed.

Lights, kitchen, mirror
Since the builders have finished it’s been busy getting ready for the arrival of the kitchen which we are fitting ourselves before the engineered oak floor arrives in a weeks time.

The Extension
Apart from the discussions & snagging the builders have finished and now it’s time to decorate.

A new hedge takes shape?
Having had to remove our low rounded box hedging in Norfolk due to blight, this weekend it was time to put in it’s replacement – Ilex Crenata. This is supposed to be about the best plant you can get if you want to create as near a box hedge look without using box.

The blighted hedge
You will all have heard of box blight, well sadly our little border hedge in Norfolk has been affected.

Lights, Plaster, Tiles & Floors
This week the second fix electrics started, the shower room was tiled, one wall in the hall was plastered, the deck was reconstructed and the screed levelled.

The cold weather is here…
This week saw more plastering, woodwork & waterproofing happening – just need the boiler to be connected up so that it isn’t quite so cold inside!
